About The Position

The Medical Staff Coordinator supports medical staff committees and the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for Medical Staff members and Allied Health Professionals. The coordinator processes initial and reappointment applications in accordance with established policies, rules and regulations, bylaws, and governmental regulatory standards to ensure that only qualified practitioners provide care within the hospital. The role also participates in projects initiated by the medical staff. The estimated pay range is $20.42–$25.93 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in hospital or managed care credentialing.
• Knowledge of modern office equipment operations.
• Database and computer literacy.
• Effective professional business written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, organization, planning, and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• NAMSS certification preferred, with the expectation to obtain certification within 3 years of employment.
