About The Position

ONEOK is seeking a Supervisor, Measurement within their Natural Gas Liquids division. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in chromatography, chromatography data systems (CDS), measurement balances (gas and NGL), O&M budgets, project management, and managing staff. This role directs measurement, sampling, and testing in a designated service area. Requirements

  • Candidates must live close to Bridgeport, TX, other locations are Weatherford, Denton, North Ft. Worth or be willing to relocate.
  • Subject matter expert in chromatography, chromatography data systems (CDS), measurement balances (gas and NGL), O&M budgets, project management, and managing staff.
  • Familiarity with field operations and gas measurement methods.
  • Ability to apply math and algebraic formulas.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Teams and Excel preferred.
  • Fluent in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information and instructions; including conducting oral presentations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences preferred.
  • An applicant would be considered equivalent with a combination of formal education and job related experience.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Teams and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and direct employees in calibration, use, and maintenance of chromatographs, titration equipment, spectrophotometers, and other laboratory equipment as needed.
  • Support of Measurement Functions for all NGGP and NGL Operations, as needed.
  • Direct installation and operation of new equipment.
  • Verification of accuracy within control limits.
  • In-depth understanding of mass balance measurement, with an emphasis in NGL balances.
  • Equipment maintenance, including but not limited to gas chromatographs, sample cylinders, composite sampling systems.
  • Provide technical input to projects, support ongoing QA/QC troubleshooting and performance.
  • Monitoring accuracy of all data transmitted to stakeholders, including routine hydrocarbon composition, Sulfur species, and other test results as needed.
  • This is to include Fidelity Plots, control charting, or other QC techniques, as needed.
  • Coordinate and/or communicate with other departments, as needed.
  • This includes routine collaboration with other lab teams across the ONEOK system.
  • Periodic review of sampling procedures, communicating necessary changes to outside personnel.
  • Periodic review of relevant test methods, including but not limited to ASTM, GPA, API, and AGA standards.
