About The Position

Supervises a team in the dispensing of medical supplies and patient care equipment. Ensures appropriate supplies are ordered, received, inventory levels are maintained, and patient charges are captured. This role is part of the VCOC CS Leaders organization within Vanderbilt Health, a large academic health system known for its commitment to patient care, education, and research. Requirements

  • 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience managing external vendors and service providers.
  • Ability to provide leadership and operational support across varying shifts and schedules.
  • Compliance (Novice): Understanding the rules, regulations, sanctions and other statutory requirements, guidelines and instructions relating to governing bodies and organizations, both internally and externally.
  • People Management (Novice): Interacting, communicating, building relationships and developing employees.

  • Supporting a multi-shift operation that runs seven days a week, including weekends, in a 24/7 environment.
