About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Operations team. This position will be based in our Reno, NV facility. This role oversees daily production operations, including all activities related to manufacturing, assembly, inspection, packaging, and certification. The Production Supervisor ensures adherence to safety and operational policies while maintaining effective communication with cross-functional departments.

Requirements

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and ownership for team accountability, maintain documentation, and uphold quality standards.
  • Experience with continuous improvement, project management, and production systems; as well as the ability to analyze data for decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of chemical handling, LOTO, emergency response, escalation procedures, and safety documentation.
  • Digital proficiency using Microsoft Office programs, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and related tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to clearly convey and present information across diverse teams.
  • Willingness to support varying shifts (day, night, split) based on business needs
  • 4+ years in manufacturing, including 2+ years in a leadership role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop production teams by managing hiring, performance, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions while ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Champion safety by actively promoting EH&S initiatives, participating in safety committees, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Drive training and workforce capability by identifying skill gaps, coordinating training for processes, equipment, and programs, and ensuring employees follow procedures and quality standards.
  • Develop and mentor production team members by actively supporting their professional growth and career development goals, while maintaining a strong focus on achieving operational objectives and meeting KPIs.
  • Manage production operations by monitoring orders, optimizing resource allocation, and partnering with support teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by implementing and maintaining Lean/5S practices, improving processes, resolving customer complaints, and driving operational efficiency.
  • Partner with engineering and operations leadership to support automation, process improvements, and capital projects while meeting budget and revenue goals.
  • Maintain operational control systems by managing inventory, auditing and updating procedures/work instructions, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Provide hands-on support by maintaining working knowledge of production processes to assist teams and address operational challenges as needed.
  • Perform additional duties within the scope of the role to support business objectives.
