About The Position

Wavepoint is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented full-time Janitor to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of three facilities in the North Tonawanda, New York area. The position requires travel among the three locations on designated workdays. The Janitor must have reliable personal transportation and be able to work independently while maintaining consistent cleaning and safety standards across all assigned facilities. The work includes cleaning and sanitizing facilities, maintaining floors and common areas, managing waste and supplies, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns. The role involves physical tasks throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, repetitive movements, and handling loads of up to 40 pounds. The schedule is assigned by management, with specific hours and location assignments determined by operational needs.

Requirements

Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel between three assigned facilities on separate scheduled days.
Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Flexibility to accommodate assigned schedules and operational needs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
Ability to safely operate janitorial equipment and handle cleaning products according to established procedures.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors; dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Empty trash and recycling receptacles, dispose of waste, and replenish restroom and cleaning supplies.
Travel to assigned Wavepoint facilities on scheduled days and complete cleaning duties independently and efficiently.
Maintain consistent cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards across all three locations.
Monitor supplies and report maintenance issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards to management.
Follow company cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
