About The Position

The Assembler works with the production department to complete customer orders accurately and on time. The role assembles products for packaging and performs related tasks, including verifying parts and product numbers, sorting and counting products, packaging products, following work orders and quality standards, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
Effective communication skills.
Simple math skills, including the ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
Ability to read work orders, instructions, formulas, or processing charts.
Ability to package goods for shipment or storage and to wrap, measure, weigh, or count products or materials.
Ability to use hand and/or power tools.

Nice To Haves

PC literacy, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

Assemble products according to work instructions.
Attach product parts to create finished products.
Perform quality inspections throughout assembly to ensure accuracy.
Place inserts and products into clam shells, blister packs, and similar packaging.
Remove products from bags for additional custom assembly.
Count products to ensure they meet work order requirements.
Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Perform safety inspections in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
