About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor plans and supervises the execution of cost-effective, timely maintenance needed to operate all equipment. The role directs, coordinates, and supports maintenance personnel; works with contractors, vendors, or company engineering on equipment modifications and installations; and troubleshoots and resolves new or different technical equipment problems. The position has supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 5 years of experience in progressively responsible maintenance roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Nice To Haves

• Poultry plant maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise cost-effective, timely maintenance for operating equipment.
• Direct, coordinate, and support maintenance personnel.
• Work with contractors, vendors, or company engineering on equipment modifications or installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve new or different technical equipment problems.
• Maintain relevant records and ensure OSHA standards and programs are implemented.
• Instruct employees in the use of personal protective equipment.
• Implement improvements to facility ergonomics.
• Coordinate team-member schedules and manage clock reports and attendance records.
• Hold consistent safety meetings.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
