About The Position

Western National Property Management is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor, also referred to as a Facilities Manager, for Ridgewood Village Apartment Homes, a 135-unit apartment community in Orange, California. The role is responsible for helping maintain and preserve the property, support its residents, and keep the community’s facilities and apartments in working order. The position involves daily apartment maintenance, emergency repairs, unit turnovers, and carrying out ownership’s asset-preservation objectives. The Maintenance Supervisor performs and oversees a range of repair and installation work, mentors the maintenance team, develops maintenance techniques and improvements, and works with outside vendors. Compensation is $29.50 to $32.50 per hour depending on experience, with additional bonus opportunities.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in the multifamily industry.
At least one year of supervisory experience leading a commercial or residential maintenance and grounds team.
Current or previous supervisory experience in property management.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to apply strong effort in high-energy and emergency environments and remain calm during emergencies.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Skills in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, masonry, and appliance repair and installation.
