This position works in a manufacturing environment and is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies for equipment in the extrusion area. The role involves training and mentoring maintenance technicians, supervising their EHS performance, and developing preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance routines to ensure equipment availability and identify potential failures. The supervisor will also troubleshoot equipment failures, coordinate external services, conduct root cause analysis of maintenance issues, and manage the maintenance system and its performance indicators. Additionally, the role includes improving automation projects, developing restoration equipment programs, implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and managing critical spare parts inventory.
