Growing together. As the Clinical Nurse Manager you will be responsible for the management and oversight of the daily clinical operations in a service line in one or more practice locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: clinical leadership, clinical operations, patient and employee safety and satisfaction, quality care, fiscal management and personnel management. Serves as a clinical nursing resource and clinical operations partner in the areas of quality improvement, regulatory compliance, safety and professional development for their designated sites/service areas.

Requirements

  • Working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Current, unrestricted LPN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Enrolled in an LPN to RN program and successfully completing within 4 years of hire
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
  • Proven ability to act cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Proven solid interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principals of collaboration and teamwork

  • 3+ years of demonstrated clinical experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily nursing operations for the Easton practice
  • Partners with Operations to ensure optimal functioning, respond to urgent issues, and lead quality and safety initiatives
  • Uses data (e.g., Press Ganey, HOSHIN metrics) to identify and lead improvements in clinical quality and service excellence
  • Owns clinical safety responsibilities, addresses safety reports, and ensures regulatory compliance across the service line
  • Manages patient complaints and daily operations concerns.
  • Communicates key updates to leadership and staff; represents nursing in committees, meetings, and special projects
  • Supervises clinical nursing staff, manages daily staffing, conducts performance reviews, fosters professional development, and works with Regional Nurse manager on any code of conduct concerns
  • Oversees onboarding, training, and annual competency validation for clinical staff; promotes mentorship and education
  • Upholds ANA Code of Ethics, engages in career development, and contributes to the profession through mentorship and presentations
