Requirements
- Bachelors in biological or chemical sciences, as defined by CLIA, upon hire
- Minimum of five years of experience at a moderate or high complexity laboratory, upon hire
- International Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-IMLS) Required or Blood Banking (BB) Required or Chemistry - ASCP (CASCP) Required or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Required or Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT-NCA) Required or Doctor of Medicine: AZ (MD:AZ) Required or Medical Laboratory Scientist - Med Technologist (MLS) Required or Medical Technologist AAB (MT-AAB) Required or Technologist in Microbiology (MMT-ASCP) Required or Medical Technologist AMT (MT-AMT) Required or Technologist in Microbiology (MMT-ASCP) Required or Specialist in Hematology (SH-ASCP) Required or Histotechnologist (HTL) Required

Responsibilities
- Supervises, coaches, and reviews the performance of laboratory personnel to ensure adherence to relevant policies and ethics
- Oversees designated laboratory day-to-day operations and exercises authority over personnel decisions
- Analyzes and interprets laboratory results in accordance with established laboratory work processes
- Administers laboratory inventories such as supplies, equipment and consumables
- Selection of test methodology that is appropriate for the clinical use of the test results
- Verification of the test procedures performed and establishment of the laboratory's test performance characteristics, including the precision and accuracy of each test and test system
