About The Position

The Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the contract and acts as the alternate point of contact with the Government. This role requires the skills, knowledge, and experience to manage all aspects of the contract effectively and efficiently. The Supervisor assists in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring work is performed in accordance with the contract and that all employees, subcontractors, and vendors comply with contractual requirements and government regulations. This position also involves managing and maintaining a contract budget, reviewing processes for efficiency, scheduling personnel, approving time cards, and managing inventory of supplies, equipment, and vehicles. Additionally, the Supervisor sets and guides employee expectations, conducts reviews and counseling, implements process improvement plans, and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures. They are also responsible for completing employee performance evaluations and ensuring standard work practices for safety, including training on equipment, supplies, and performance work statement requirements. A key responsibility is analyzing and maintaining the contract's AbilityOne Ratio requirements by properly scheduling disabled and non-disabled employee hours. This includes completing Limitation & Accommodation Quarterly Reports for AbilityOne employees and serving as a facilitator for the AbilityOne Program. The Supervisor assists in executing required reports, inspections, and logs, and provides field information for estimates. They must also pass and maintain any required security clearance, comply with the Drug-Free Workplace policy, maintain Operations Security (OPSEC) standards, manage Government Furnished Property (GFP), and maintain a safety and health program compliant with EM 385-1-1 and applicable OSHA, DOD, Armed Forces Branch(s), Federal, state, and local requirements, including a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the accomplishment of Employee Performance Evaluations through the payroll system within appropriate time frames.
  • Ensure standard work practices are followed for safety.
  • Provide training for operating equipment and vehicles, use of supplies, and the requirements of the performance work statement.
  • Assist in analyzing and maintaining the contract AbilityOne Ratio requirements through the proper work scheduling of direct disabled employee hours vs non-disabled employee hours.
  • Assist in completion of Limitation & Accommodation Quarterly Reports for each AbilityOne employee.
  • Assist the Project manager in serving as facilitator for the AbilityOne Program with the AbilityOne department.
  • Assist in the execution of reports, inspections and logs as required by the contract.
  • Assist in providing field information and specifications to prepare estimates for new work added or deleted to the contract.
  • Perform other tasks as may be directed by the Project Manager.
