About The Position
Calyx Living is seeking a Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech for its assisted living community in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The role supports supervision of care staff, administers medications, and assists Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in providing personal care services to seniors. The position is for all shifts and requires availability to work weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Prior experience as a Supervisor in Charge.
- Active North Carolina Med Tech certification required.
- Active CPR certification required.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with seniors is strongly preferred.
- Prior leadership experience as a SIC/MT in assisted living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily needs.
- Support supervision of care staff and Personal Care Assistants.
- Administer medications.
- Provide personal care services to seniors.
- Keep the work schedule updated as call-outs and other changes occur.
- Ensure staff training is up to date.
- Follow established safety precautions.
