About The Position

Calyx Living is hiring a first-shift Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech for its assisted living community in North Durham. The role supports the supervision of care staff, administers medications, and assists Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in providing personal care services to seniors. The position also involves helping residents with daily needs, maintaining staff schedules as call-outs or changes occur, ensuring training is up to date, and following established safety precautions. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior experience as a Supervisor in Charge.
• Active North Carolina MedTech certification.
• Active CPR certification.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with seniors is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the supervision of care staff.
