About The Position

The Supervisor Imaging Services oversees radiology services under the supervision of the department Director and is responsible for day-to-day operations. The position combines radiologic technologist services, including direct patient care and diagnostic testing, with overall workflow management. The supervisor oversees radiology technicians, including workforce timekeeping and performance appraisals, and ensures technical equipment quality assurance, continuous quality improvement, and competency validation for direct reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least two years of experience in a supervisory or lead technologist role in a mammography department.
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Organization and time-management skills.
• Effective, appropriate, and diplomatic oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
• Current California Department of Public Health Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
• California Department of Public Health Certified Mammographic Radiologic Technologist certification.
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification.
• Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of experience as a mammography technologist.
