Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience (5+)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
- Provides immediate supervision to semi-skilled support team members.
- Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals.
- Maintains schedules and workflow of the team.
- Manages personnel details to include salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and training.
- Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the datacenters.
- Executes specified routine tasks.
- Meets unit targets typically against a weekly plan.
- Provides input and guidance towards budget.
- Overall site capacity supervision.
- Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards.
- Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems.
- Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident.
