Requirements

AA/AS or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role.
Strong safety awareness and experience.
Demonstrated capability of providing results through people, technology, and process.
Basic SAP & general computer knowledge is required.
Basic understanding of automated manufacturing processes.
Be able to communicate and motivate coherently- both verbally and via written media.
Understand principles of manufacturing.
Able to work rotating shifts and extended hours on occasion when required.

Nice To Haves

General pipe/tube finishing experience is preferred
Understanding of data recording/acquisition systems such as IBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for management of the shift in terms of staff, production, and quality targets to ensure smooth operations.
Manage, develop, and motivate direct reporting staff.
To ensure that training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift.
To maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
Effectively use a computer for data entry, reporting and word processing.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental rules and regulations.
To play an active role in the Continues Improvement team.
Communicate with all team members (maintenance and production) to ensure good two-way communication on all issues.
