About The Position
The Supervisor, Health Information Management is responsible for daily oversight of Health Information Management (HIM) Departments in accordance with the Manager. The HIM Supervisor will supervise daily activities related to the compiling, processing, and maintaining records of hospital patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Health Information OR 3 years’ experience in Health Information Management.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management
- Leadership experience in Health Information Management, supervisor or above.
- RHIA, RHIT
- Working knowledge of electronic medical records.
