About The Position

This role is to support the Golf Maintenance operation by ensuring daily course-care standards are consistently met or exceeded while actively performing all frontline golf maintenance duties. In the Winter months, this role will oversee our Ice rink facilities. The position involves assigning work to staff, supporting training delivery, and completing all tasks required of a Golf Grounds Maintenance associate, including mowing, trimming, bunker maintenance, fertilizing, and irrigating. It also includes diagnosing equipment malfunctions or safety concerns, completing tasks for Winter Activities Maintenance associates (using rink equipment, flooding skating surfaces, snow removal, and using tractor equipment), assisting with IPM scouting and record keeping (diagnosing/identifying diseases, pests, and weeds), applying fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides, and performing basic irrigation repairs independently with proficiency in irrigation control systems.

Requirements

• Spray license required (Landscape Exterminator License)
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Actively perform all frontline golf maintenance duties.

• Complete all tasks required of a Golf Grounds Maintenance associate, including mowing, trimming, bunker maintenance, fertilizing, and irrigating.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Complete all tasks required for Winter Activities Maintenance associates, including using rink equipment, flooding skating surfaces, snow removal, and using tractor equipment.
• Assist with IPM scouting & record keeping, including assisting with diagnosing/identifying diseases, pests & weeds.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides and fungicides, which may include spot spraying various areas around the resort for noxious weeds.
• Perform basic irrigation repairs independently with a proficiency in irrigation control systems.
