The Supervisor Food Services will direct daily operations of multi-functional food service operations to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform jobs, meet goals and deadlines. This role will assist in the maintenance of cash controls and payroll functions, probe potential problems and apprise the leader of status on resolution of problems or issues, and supervise day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards. The supervisor will manage by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees, ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as hospital policies and procedures, and establish a safe work environment for employees. They will also establish operating standards, implement quality improvements, maintain and develop employee relationships and satisfaction for multi-functional food service areas (retail and patients), and be accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery. Additionally, this role will promote and support workplace diversity initiatives.
