This position leads Food Transformation Initiative Activities and staff and directly reports to the Project Manager. The Supervisor Food Service is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations effectively and efficiently to ensure work is performed in accordance with the contract. This role ensures TRDI employees, subcontractors, and vendors comply with all contractual requirements and government regulations. The Supervisor is the point of contact with the Government and has the authority to act or make decisions for the organization on all matters pertaining to the contract, except for amending or modifying material aspects. The role also involves supervising and maintaining Quality Control and Safety Programs, managing contract budgets, scheduling personnel, reviewing time cards, and inventory management. Additionally, the Supervisor sets and guides employee expectations, conducts performance evaluations, and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures. A key responsibility is analyzing and maintaining the contract AbilityOne Ratio requirements and completing related reports. The position also requires maintaining Operations Security (OPSEC) and a safety and health program compliant with EM 385-1-1 and applicable OSHA, DOD, and other federal, state, and local requirements.
