About The Position

The Supervisor, Financial Planning & Reporting, is responsible for reviewing and analyzing Chapter-level and System financial information and developing and sharing financial assessments related to Chapter financial health, capacity, and sustainability. Working in close partnership with the Manager, Financial Planning & Reporting, this role supports System wide financial reporting and consistency by monitoring compliance with Global financial reporting standards, provides analysis for program growth and reporting, and strengthens Chapters’ financial management and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience, non-profit experience required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SmartView
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with accounting systems and Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review Chapters’ annual financial submissions and conduct ongoing monitoring of Chapters’ financial status to develop and share financial assessments regarding individual Chapter financial health, sustainability, and primary risk indicators.
  • Collaborate with the Mission Partnership team to assist Chapters with financial management and financial reporting matters as necessary
  • Support Chapters in adopting standardized financial reporting practices
  • Review Chapters’ financial modeling tools for new or expanded programs and develop independent conclusions regarding financial capacity and sustainability, documenting risks, assumptions, and mitigating factors.
  • Review Chapter financial data, including alignment of local accounts to the standardized chart of accounts framework, to support the consistency and integrity of System-wide financial reporting and prepare reports that present combined System Financials in partnership with external consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and manage Chapter financial reporting deadlines, including monitoring submission status, documenting compliance, and conducting timely follow up with Chapters to support on time completion of required financial reporting
  • Contribute to the development of financial education and resource materials for Chapters in partnership with the L&D team
