About The Position

As a Supervisor of Facilities Services, you will provide essential leadership and dedicated oversight, maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-managed environment crucial to our organization's seamless operation.Every day you will expertly manage daily maintenance, oversee custodial operations, coordinate external vendors, and meticulously ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, guiding your team to uphold high service delivery.To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive, hands-on demeanor, contributing significantly to a functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe operational setting.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital maintenance/medical equipment operations management

Nice To Haves

Associates Other with an emphasis on Business, Architecture, Engineering and/or Construction
Technical School with an emphasis on Business, Architecture, Engineering and/or Construction
Construction experience
Certified Healthcare Fac Mgr
Certified Health Care Compliance

Responsibilities

Management of the engineering or facilities department, and its staff members. These responsibilities include but are not limited to directing the work of employees, conducting regular staff meetings, maintaining performance standards and records, planning the work, and evaluating employee performance.
Assists in the selection and on boarding of new employees, training and development and performance management of staff, coordinating vacation, sick days etc.
Achieves financial performance of department by managing to all expense budgets and cost containment targets, ensuring that expenditure authority and level are adhered to, and appropriately authorizing and forwarding, in a timely manner, all appropriate PO’s, invoices and financial details to the appropriate sources.Accomplishes budgets, verifies, and assures appropriate use of staff, materials, supplies and vendors.
Maintains Preventative and Corrective Maintenance completion rate at or above program targets.
Provides professional team and personal growth that meets the needs of the customer and employees.Maintains current records of all maintenance procedures.
Foster and maintain positive working relationships with Director, Facility Management, senior hospital administration, and all other constituents and customers.
Assists in the completion of the annual PQE. Assists Director, Facility Management and all other groups to maintain regulatory compliance accreditation readiness.
Leads implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence, financial stewardship, and national programs.
Accomplishes smooth and timely communication and reporting
Actively participates in construction related activities as requiredNetworks with peers to build positive inter-department relationships, gain innovative ideas and sourcing of information.
