About The Position

Riverwalk Casino, located in Vicksburg, MS, is seeking a Supervisor for its Food & Beverage department. Requirements

  • Strong culinary background in fine dining food management with solid work history.
  • Ability to obtain an ABC permit issued by the Alcohol Beverage Commission of Mississippi.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies or members of staff.
  • Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
  • Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience necessary.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach with arms and hands.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in complying with all food, health and safety regulations.
  • Schedules, evaluates and trains team members on assigned shift.
  • Reviews and make suggestions to hire, transfer, evaluate, assign and discipline all team members on assigned shift.
  • Confers with Food and Beverage Manager concerning operations deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
  • Sets priorities for all team members on shift and provides assistance as needed.
  • Evaluates and resolves guests’ issues in prompt and professional manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
