About The Position
The Supervisor assists in planning, directing, and coordinating operational and personnel activities to ensure quality services that meet the needs of those served by the assigned area and role. Leadership is guided by the Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Healthcare (MCHS-FH) mission, vision, and values. The role involves ongoing collaboration and communication through shared goal setting and decision-making with physicians, associate providers, department staff, and multidisciplinary team members. The Supervisor maintains a professional environment and supports the ongoing development of self and staff, applies current leadership and management theories to daily team management, and assists in developing and implementing operational plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of supervisory experience in an environmental services-related field.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of and experience with continuous quality improvement and change management processes.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary, collaborative setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
