About The Position

Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home provide palliative care to advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. The Environmental Services Supervisor reports directly to the Environment/Laundry/Mailroom Operation Director and supervises aspects of the department’s daily activities. The role also performs a variety of duties to help ensure a clean, comfortable, and sanitary hospital environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and transcribe numerical records.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability and attitude consistent with Calvary Hospital’s spirit of caring and tradition, as required by the specific job duties and functions.
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience.
