Supervisor, Distribution (Overnight)
About The Position
The Supervisor, Distribution oversees critical warehouse operations and leads multiple teams in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role is responsible for ensuring orders move safely, accurately, and efficiently through the distribution network, while supporting customer satisfaction and operational results. The supervisor leads daily activities across receiving and inbound operations, order processing and case pick, shipping and loading, returns processing, inventory replenishment, and general warehouse operations. The position also focuses on developing associates, improving processes, supporting inventory accuracy, and maintaining safety and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of distribution, warehouse, logistics, or operations experience.
- Leadership experience supervising teams in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates.
- Monitor productivity and balance workloads to meet operational goals.
- Create a safe, positive, and high-performing work environment.
- Provide training, tools, and resources to help associates succeed.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and resolve escalated issues.
- Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Support inventory accuracy and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain operational reports and performance documentation.
