About The Position

The Customer Service Supervisor reports to the Manager, Customer Service. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of the service area and be able to process orders. Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent phone skills, work efficiently in a fast pace environment, and have excellent organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist with customer calls for cement deliveries and customer requests
  • Supervise and assist with dispatch and tracking of deliveries for U.S. cement shipping locations
  • Coordinate customer requests for billing questions, credit, pricing, mill reports, MSDS sheets, and certification letters
  • Assist credit department with account payment discrepancies, coordinating with customers ticket copy needs or pricing discrepancies
  • Assist with review of billing collections for plant and terminals
  • Negotiate and maintain all freight rates for payables and billing
  • Maintain all freight rate changes in SICLO
  • Reconcile and approve package cement purchases
  • General terminal support including systems, accounts, mill reports, COD listings etc.
  • Maintain and distribute logs for controlled sales plan (allocation) when needed
  • Assist with customer price records/changes for sales and billing
  • Coordinate trucking and tonnage on cement purchases and/or swaps and inter company cement truck transfers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
