This role assists in the development and vision of formal count policies and procedures, and assists with training, selecting, and developing team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action. The Supervisor directs the collection, sorting, counting, and recording of gaming revenue; the transfer of funds to the vault; the maintenance of the currency counting equipment; and the overall operations of the count room. The role verifies count calculations and reconciles summary reports, ensuring all count totals and transactions are timely and accurately recorded. The Supervisor reconciles discrepancies related to monetary assets and performs duties of Count Room and Lead Count Room Representatives as needed. The position ensures the count room is kept clean, safe, and free of hazards, and performs prompt and discrete notification to senior management of any observation of illegal acts and or internal ethics. The Supervisor performs the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program and other duties as assigned.
