About The Position

The Supervisor CDS Informatics provides day-to-day leadership for the Clinical Decision Support Informatics team, ensuring team members are supported, work is prioritized effectively, and deliverables align with Network and Office of Transformation priorities. This role partners with Transformation leadership to establish and track team OKRs, manage performance, remove barriers to execution, and promote continuous learning and improvement. The Supervisor serves as a liaison between clinical stakeholders, technical teams, IT services, vendors, and operational leaders to help ensure CDS tools support clinical workflows, evidence-based practices, regulatory standards, and organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Vocational/Technical or Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of stated education requirements.
  • Holds a current, active clinical license or certification as required for their clinical experience.
  • Epic Certification required within 3 months from hire.
  • 3 or more years of clinical practice experience required.
  • 5 or more years of CDS (Clinical Decision Support), Informatics, or IT-related experience required.
  • 5 or more years of significant experience with CDS tooling required; alternate clinical experience may be considered in lieu of RN licensure.
  • Ability to analyze clinical data, evaluate CDS effectiveness, identify workflow gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Strong project management skills with experience supporting system development, upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clinical, operational, IT, Transformation, and vendor stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 or more years of leadership, supervisory, or people-management experience preferred.
  • Prior Epic system experience strongly preferred.

  • Serves as a CDS subject matter expert for Epic tools, order sets, smart sets, registries, warnings, and patient-facing digital tools.
