Regions Hospital is seeking an experienced healthcare leader to join our exceptional Cardiopulmonary Rehab team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology, nursing, occupational therapy or physical therapy.
  • Five years of experience in professional field with four years of experience in cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac stress testing, pulmonary rehabilitation, or cardiac care (inpatient or clinic) nursing.
  • If clinical background is RN, PT, OT, current MN and WI state licensure (i.e. RN, PT, OT) is required.
  • BCLS and ACLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree versus bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology.
  • Previous experience leading, supervising and/or developing healthcare clinical programs preferred.
  • Certification as Certified Exercise Specialist by American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or American Society of Exercise Physiologists (ASEP).

Responsibilities

  • Directing, planning, coordinating and supervising the staff in activities associated with patient care management in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
  • Staffing designated hospital Cardiology programs for Cardiac Stress Testing and Cardiac Monitoring (i.e. Holter and event monitors).
  • Establish, maintain, and evaluate standards of care.
  • Staff development.
  • Environmental and fiscal management.
  • May be involved in research projects and perform other duties as assigned.
