Supervisor, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology, nursing, occupational therapy or physical therapy.
- Five years of experience in professional field with four years of experience in cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac stress testing, pulmonary rehabilitation, or cardiac care (inpatient or clinic) nursing.
- If clinical background is RN, PT, OT, current MN and WI state licensure (i.e. RN, PT, OT) is required.
- BCLS and ACLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree versus bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology.
- Previous experience leading, supervising and/or developing healthcare clinical programs preferred.
- Certification as Certified Exercise Specialist by American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or American Society of Exercise Physiologists (ASEP).
Responsibilities
- Directing, planning, coordinating and supervising the staff in activities associated with patient care management in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
- Staffing designated hospital Cardiology programs for Cardiac Stress Testing and Cardiac Monitoring (i.e. Holter and event monitors).
- Establish, maintain, and evaluate standards of care.
- Staff development.
- Environmental and fiscal management.
- May be involved in research projects and perform other duties as assigned.
