The Management and Budget Department (“MBD”) is a collaborative team of approximately 25 team members who coordinate the development and consolidation of the agency’s annual Budget, lead monthly financial performance reviews and analyses, analyze and review resource requests, and manage and operate the agency’s enterprise budgeting system BudgetPro. As part of the MBD team, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the agency’s financial structure and processes, as well as knowledge of the operations of various lines of business, ultimately providing you with extensive opportunities for a long-term career at the Port Authority. The Supervising Financial Analyst is a key member of the MBD leadership team who is responsible for providing exemplary customer service and overseeing and analyzing the resources—both fiscal and physical—of the agency’s Tunnel, Bridges, & Terminals (“TB&T”), PATH, and Major Capital Program Departments. The Supervising Financial Analyst reports to MBD’s Assistant Manager of Budget Performance & Analysis and directly supervises a team of approximately two Budget Analysts while working in close coordination and collaboration with the entire MBD team, the finance suite, and the finance teams located within the TB&T, PATH, and Major Capital Program Departments.
