About The Position

The component repair supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the various engine repair departments at our St-Hubert facility. If you have good organizational skills, leadership qualities and are keenly interested in management, quality assurance and have a strong desire to implement innovative process, we strongly encourage you to apply for our supervisor position. This is a full-time, day-shift position, Monday to Friday, based in St. Hubert, and is exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aeronautics, business administration, or in engineering
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in supervising employees in the manufacturing sectors
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience in leading and developing high performing teams, groups, projects and / or processes
  • Must be quality oriented and committed to providing quality services in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment
  • Lead to meet customer requirements while maintaining the highest quality of work
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to interact with various support groups.
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience with aftermarket repair and inspection processes in the aviation industry (Asset)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day repair/overhaul operations in a high technology industry, on the day shift.
  • Motivate and energize the workforce to reach an optimal level of employee’s engagement.
  • Responsible of main performance indicators: Heath & Safety, quality, on time delivery, productivity, etc.
  • Help develop and manage the budget and hiring.
  • Supervise work shift changes.
  • Host and take part in meetings with other managers
