About The Position

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Operations team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). The team is structured to promote autonomous, cross-functional collaboration, supporting one another and learning collectively. Requirements

Minimum two (2) years in management experience in a unionized environment, ideally within the manufacturing or aerospace industry
Experience in managing building and equipment maintenance activities
Excellent management skills
Demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, and high flexibility, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, comfortable working under pressure, and possess a strong sense of urgency
Excellent communication skills
Good understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
Proficiency in both French and English

Responsibilities

Demonstrate leadership while respecting the company's vision and values
Be able to work under pressure and leverage your team to meet strict deadlines
Manage your team's performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)
Manage the workload and individual performance of unionized employees
Ensure continuous improvement, notably through the application of the problem-solving process
Coach your team (15 to 25 employees) to develop their talents within the organization
Identify, document, and standardize key processes driving the achievement of objectives
Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the organization
