About The Position
The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily mechanical assembly operations within the manufacturing department to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational efficiency objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of 8D analysis, 5why, Fishbone
- Ability to work in an industrial environment
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to communicate in French with our Quebec team is important.
- Strong English skills are also required to collaborate effectively with our suppliers and global team.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- DEP in Refrigeration would be an asset
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical assemblers and production personnel.
- Ensure assembly operations are completed according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor production output and respond to delays or quality issues.
- Conduct daily production meetings and communicate priorities.
- Train, mentor, and support employees.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain production records and prepare reports.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
