About The Position

Haleon is seeking a Training and Development Supervisor to join the Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. This role is crucial for executing and continuously improving the site's training programs, ensuring employees are adequately trained to meet regulatory requirements, quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies. The position actively contributes to maintaining a GMP-compliant environment, enhancing training system effectiveness, and developing employee skills at the site.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in French is required for effective communication and adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
  • University degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Administration, Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingualism required (written/spoken French and English) to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders in other provinces/countries.
  • Experience in managing or coordinating employee training and qualification programs.
  • Good knowledge of GMP/BPF requirements and regulatory expectations applicable to a pharmaceutical or consumer goods environment.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and documentation systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, training facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in team supervision or functional leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, health products, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools, including Lean, Six Sigma, or HAPS.
  • Experience in designing and deploying site-wide skill development programs.
  • Experience in change management and supporting operational transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Veeva, MyLearning, or similar documentation and training management platforms.
  • Bilingualism (French and English).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the administration and execution of site training programs to ensure compliance with GMP, EHS requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and training of new employees, as well as periodic and requalification training programs.
  • Maintain competency matrices, training curricula, and training records in applicable systems.
  • Ensure the availability, accuracy, and updating of training materials, operational procedures, and work aids.
  • Support the management of the procedure system (SOP) in collaboration with various site departments.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and subject matter experts regarding training and qualification requirements.
  • Monitor training-related performance indicators and propose improvements to increase program effectiveness.
  • Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance activities related to training.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing training, qualification, and skill development processes.
  • Supervise a training team, foster their professional development, and ensure departmental objectives are met.
