About The Position

Price Chopper/Market 32 Supermarkets is accepting applications for future part-time openings across various departments. While most hiring occurs in the front end and night crew, individuals with previous experience may be hired into other departments. The company has a history of promoting from within, and part-time positions can lead to long careers for motivated individuals. Applicants can specify up to three departments of interest or select "any department." Applications are reviewed based on hiring needs, and selected candidates will be contacted for an interview via phone or email. Unselected candidates will be notified via email.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide Six-Star Service in the Front-End department.
• Bake artisan breads in the Bakery department.
• Fill prescriptions, offer health care counseling, and provide efficient service in the Pharmacy department (for Registered Pharmacists or Pharmacy students).
• Assist customers with floral orders, "talk plants," and utilize MyFloralPlace.com in the Floral department.
• Slice, dice, and prepare deli items and sandwiches in the Deli/Food Service department.
• Stock and merchandise non-food items, including seasonal products, in the General Merchandise department.
• Stock, merchandise, and create displays for packaged foods and staples in the Grocery department.
• Provide high-quality fresh meat to families in the Meat department.
• Educate guests about the benefits of produce-rich diets in the Produce department.
• Provide fresh seafood, assist guests with purchasing and preparation, and offer "Seafood Smart" guidance in the Seafood department.
