About The Position
We are partnering with an established construction company seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up multifamily projects in the Santa Rosa area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent who has successfully managed multifamily construction from the ground up and is looking for a long-term home with a strong organization.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily construction projects
- Strong understanding of multifamily construction and sequencing
- Experience managing projects from ground-up construction through closeout
- Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and maintain project schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to jobsite safety and quality
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations for ground-up multifamily construction projects
- Oversee projects typically consisting of three-story multifamily buildings
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
- Monitor quality, safety, and workmanship throughout construction
- Work closely with Project Managers, ownership, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Lead site meetings and proactively address field issues
- Manage projects from initial site activities through completion and turnover
