About The Position

Responsible for all related operations of a manufacturing facility. This includes understanding, maintaining, evaluating, and improving process controls. The role also involves maintaining and improving product quality control and assurance standards, managing cost control, maximizing productivity, and minimizing waste. The Superintendent will motivate, train, develop, and lead production personnel on flexible shifts/hours, coordinate schedules with team members, and communicate essential information to all parties concerned. The position requires the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks/assignments, and work collaboratively with commercial, production, administrative, and management teams. Flexibility to work extended hours or various shifts, including day/nights/weekends, is necessary to support operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment is required.
  • Demonstrated Leadership experience and attributes that help drive people development, inclusivity, ownership mindset, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Commitment to ADM's goals of achieving a zero-injury culture.
  • Full compliance with ADM Employee Safety and Food Safety policies and guidelines, as well as industry regulations.
  • Strong understanding of Manufacturing flow processes, controls and procedures.
  • Ability to understand, develop and manage production schedules and target dates.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to climb and work on elevated platforms, catwalks, and other high places.
  • Must demonstrate a high-level of problem solving and team working skills.
  • Must have strong Organizational and Inter-personal skills.
  • Experience and proficiency working with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of experience is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude is a plus.
