About The Position

Requirements
- Experience supervising unionized staff
- Ability to work outdoors and on different work shifts
- Demonstrate autonomy, team spirit, flexibility and judgment
- Decision-making ability
- Ability to communicate in English and French (written and spoken)
- Have a diploma of vocational or college studies
- Have a Class 5 driving licence
Responsibilities
- Plan the implementation of ship loading and unloading operations
- Determine the equipment and labour required for operations
- Coordinate the execution of maritime operations and cargo handing on the terminal
- Supervise the work teams under your responsibility
- Enforce health and safety guidelines in the workplace
- Prepare performance and cost control reports
- Represent the company in various committees or assemblies
