About The Position

As a Superintendent, you will lead field operations for commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll oversee Pepper Construction field team members, subcontractors, and specialty trades while partnering closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and trade partners to deliver successful project outcomes.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a field supervision role within commercial construction.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional project results.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day jobsite operations from project start through closeout.
Coordinate and direct field personnel, subcontractors, and specialty trade partners.
Develop strong working relationships that promote collaboration and project success.
Plan and manage manpower needs to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Coordinate work activities and logistics, including material staging, site access, and owner operations.
Partner with Project Management teams to ensure efficient project execution.
Lead project planning, startup, and ongoing coordination meetings.
Champion jobsite safety by developing and executing project safety plans.
Conduct pre-installation meetings with trade partners before work begins.
Perform regular safety inspections and audits, documenting findings and corrective actions.
Proactively monitor field activities and intervene as needed to maintain safe, productive operations.
