Summer Welcome Center Concierge - Marblehead YMCA
About The Position
The YMCA of the North Shore is seeking a Member Concierge to join their team. This role is responsible for greeting members and guests, creating a warm and inclusive experience, and supporting both outdoor pool and Welcome Center operations. The Concierge will help members connect with programs, services, and the Y community. Typical shifts include outdoor pool hours from 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM and Welcome Center hours from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Weekend availability is required. This position is ideal for individuals interested in customer service, sales, nonprofit work, or community engagement.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older
- Must be available to work weekends
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, energetic, and solution-oriented mindset
- Willing to pick up shifts
- Basic knowledge of computers
Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests with friendly, professional service
- Manage check-in operations at the outdoor pool and Welcome Center
- Monitor the pool deck and assist with waitlist management
- Answer questions and resolve member concerns with care and discretion
- Support cleanliness and risk management standards
- Build relationships that create a strong sense of belonging
