About The Position
The Summer Theatre production assistant supports in all areas of theatre production, except costumes. Including building scenery and properties; hanging and focusing lights; sewing and painting. Requirements
- Candidates will have worked at least one semester as a Middlebury College Theatre Production Assistant, Dance Program Technical Assistant, McCullough Technical Assistant, or equivalent in another undergraduate program.
- Candidates will have demonstrated competence in scenery construction and lighting hang/focus.
- Candidate will have demonstrated ability to work on technical and creative projects requiring problem solving and creative thinking.
- Ability to do basic math, climb ladders, lift and carry items, and physical mobility is necessary.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
