About The Position
Our Temporary Summer Worker program is tailored to individuals who are currently enrolled in an Associate's degree program or in the first or second year of a four (4)-year program (of any type) from an accredited college or university. The length of the program typically runs from mid-May to mid-August. Under close supervision, complete various tasks that contribute to the day to day operations.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an Associate's degree program or in the first or second year of a four (4)-year program (of any type)
- Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
- Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
- Freeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/alcohol-free work environment using mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going drug and alcohol testing, as allowed by applicable laws.
Nice To Haves
- Willing and able to accept a temporary, three (3) month assignment (anticipated to last from mid-to-end of May through beginning-to-mid August)
- Interest in and/or exposure to mining operations
- Willing and able to work a rotating shift

Benefits
- The estimated pay range for this role is currently $26.25 - $26.75/hour.
