About The Position

This exciting opportunity is for a Ground Maintenance Summer Worker in Guymon, OK. The role supports the Grounds Maintenance team by performing general grounds and landscape upkeep and assisting with a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks. The Summer Worker will help with mowing, equipment care, basic plumbing support, loading and unloading materials, snow removal when needed, stuck truck assistance, and safe operation of small equipment. Requirements

  • Ability to safely use hand tools, lawn care equipment, and small machinery.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around dust, mud, and uneven terrain.
  • Ability to follow directions, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain dependable attendance.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (required based on assigned duties).

Nice To Haves

  • Current students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, general labor, farming, or outdoor work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weed control, trash removal, and general landscape upkeep.
  • Assist with loading and unloading equipment, materials, and supplies needed for daily work assignments.
  • Support basic plumbing repairs and general outdoor maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Help remove stuck vehicles and assist with snow plowing or other weather-related grounds support when needed.
  • Inspect, clean, and help maintain tools, mowers, and other small equipment to keep them in safe working condition.
  • Operate small equipment and hand tools safely and effectively while following company procedures.
  • Complete assigned work orders and daily tasks in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
  • Work safely around vehicles, equipment, and livestock environments while following all safety and biosecurity requirements.
