About The Position

CSL Group Ltd. is seeking a Summer Student to assist in maintaining a local sports complex and park. This is a hands-on, outdoor role focused on ensuring sports fields and park areas are in excellent condition for public use throughout the summer. The position involves a variety of tasks related to field preparation, general park upkeep, and some specific duties for golf and mini-putt areas. The role offers the opportunity to work outdoors and see the tangible results of your labor.

Requirements

Reliable and punctual attendance.
Comfortable working outdoors in various summer weather conditions.
Willingness to perform physical tasks and work in a hands-on environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic understanding of landscaping tools is a plus.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with basic landscaping tools.

Responsibilities

Prepare baseball diamonds, including grooming infields, setting bases, and chalking lines.
Fix or replace bases during games as needed.
Set up soccer fields, including benches and nets, ensuring proper placement.
Maintain the mini-putt area by blowing off debris and emptying ball pits.
Collect range balls using a golf cart.
Wash golf balls and mini-putt balls.
Weed garden beds and water flowers.
Pick up litter and empty garbage bins.
Clear branches and leaves from the park areas.
Perform string trimming in designated areas.
Organize and maintain the tools and equipment in the garage.
Assist site coordinators as needed.
