About The Position

The role of the Summer Student Receptionist is to support visitors at the Sioux Lookout First Nation Health Authority Executive office and provide administrative support to the Property, Finance, and Core departments.

Requirements

• Persons of First Nations ancestry will be given preference (OHRC, Part II, Special Employment)
• Some experience with customer service and or office would be preferred
• Applicants should be currently enrolled in high school or a recognized post-secondary program; however, consideration will also be given to recent graduates.
• Persons of First Nations ancestry will be given preference
• Ability to speak in a First Nations dialect of the Sioux Lookout Region would be an asset (Ojibway/Oji-Cree/Cree)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in frontline Customer Service
• Basic computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Office products and accurately type data
• Ability to work independently and work well in a team
• The ability to perform the requirements of the position on a regular basis
