About The Position
OSCO Concrete, a leading concrete manufacturer in Atlantic Canada, is seeking motivated students for summer work terms. We specialize in ready-mix concrete, concrete products, and aggregate operations supporting regional infrastructure and community-building projects. Our work is fast-paced, safety-focused, and essential. These student opportunities are designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience across various programs including Engineering, Heavy Duty Truck Technician, and Business & Administrative.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Technician program
- Currently enrolled in a Heavy Duty Truck Technician program
- Currently enrolled in a Business-related program (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Administration)

Responsibilities
- Quality control, testing, and data analysis
- Production and plant operations support
- Process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Equipment and systems troubleshooting support
- Project coordination and technical documentation
- Preventative maintenance and inspections
- Assisting with repairs and troubleshooting of heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Supporting maintenance planning, documentation, and safety programs
- Learning best practices in an industrial, safety-driven environment
- Assisting with reporting, data entry, cost tracking, and financial analysis
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative HR processes
- Providing coordination, reporting, and organizational support across concrete and aggregate operations
