About The Position
The Lansing School District is seeking a Summer School Lead Teacher for the Cumberland location for Summer Enrichment 2026. This role is part of a larger summer school program serving over 10,000 PreK-12 students. Requirements
- Internal applicants in the aligned bargaining unit will receive preference.
- Must be available for the duration of the program: 6/15/26 - 7/23/26.
- Must be able to work Monday through Thursday.
- Must be able to work from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
- Must be dedicated to educational excellence.
- Must be passionate about joining a mission-driven team.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in multiple positions within the same department (external candidates).
Responsibilities
- Provide 5 hours of instructional time per day.
- Engage in planning and data review for 48 hours.
- Fulfill general responsibilities and qualifications outlined for the position, with the understanding that these may be modified as needed.
- Potentially be assigned additional job responsibilities depending on funding sources.
