About The Position

The Lansing School District is seeking a Summer School Lead Teacher for the Summer School 2026 program. This role involves leading instruction for the first half of the summer session (June 8 - June 25) and the second half (July 6 - July 23). The position requires 6.5 hours of instructional time per day, plus 48 hours of total planning time for the summer. The schedule is Monday through Thursday for 6 weeks, with daily hours from 8 am to 3 pm. Requirements

  • Must be available for the entire summer school duration.
  • Must be available to work Monday through Thursday.

  • Must be available for the second half from 7/06-7/23.
  • Must complete 48 hours of total planning for the summer.
